We're delighted to announce the publication of our latest eNewsletter. The new Presumed Consent legislation has been passed and from next year, there will be a presumption that when you die, your organs will be available for donation. That got us to thinking about your assets and what happens to them when you pass away. Interestingly, there's also a kind of Presumed Consent here too. In this case, if you don't make a Will, your assets will be distributed in accordance with the law. The only problem with that is that it might not be the way you want them divided!
Finally, are you a "Mortgage Prisoner"? Too many people are tied into high interest rate mortgages and are unable to change even though they have been keeping up payments on the higher rate.The Financial Conduct Authority is trying to help a nd there may be some light at the end of the tunnel for those affected.
